My lithops is disgorging!

Developing true leaves? Budding? I'm not sure what the proper term is, but one of my lithops seedlings is developing a new set of leaves. Exciting!

To be honest, it also reminds me a little bit of this classic scene (not for the squeamish!):

  2. How are your little lithops doing? I was kind of surprised that mine were starting to develop new leaves this early.

  3. not doing much at all! and I accidentally killed one by putting it out in direct sun on a hot day - whoops! they are showing just the tiniest hints of color, but that's it
the conophytums are the only ones that seem to be growing

  4. Awesome! So tiny, and yet so rewarding. Are those mixed lithops seeds, or a specific species?

  5. It is! They're a mix from Thompson & Morgan, from before I learned about Conos and another place in the States whose name I forget.
